In the second match, against PSG, Massaro scored the decisive goal, and this match coincided with Arrigo Sacchi's first appearance in the stands as the future coach of Milan. The victory over Barcelona, which gave Milan the Mundialito title, also marked Ray Wilkins' farewell from the San Siro.
