Matteo Ruggeri's agents have confirmed the interest of Juventus and Roma in the Atlético Madrid defender. According to agents Manuel Montipò and Tullio Tinti, after a meeting with Inter directors, there is still no concrete offer for Ruggeri to join Inter. Tinti, who also represents Inter defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Matteo Darmian, mentioned in an interview with Sky Sport Italia that although the club is happy with Ruggeri and wants to keep him, the transfer market is open and anything can happen. Gazzetta journalists claimed that Roma were interested in Ruggeri, and agents also confirmed Juventus' interest. Ruggeri, who joined Atlético Madrid from Atalanta for €17 million, has a contract valid until June 2030.
