Andrea Medina, a 22-year-old defender, has signed a contract with Manchester United, valid until June 2029, with the possibility of extending it for another year. Called up to the senior Spanish national team in May, Medina has had impressive achievements at youth level, including winning the FIFA U20 World Cup and winning the UEFA European U19 Championship twice.

Over the last four seasons, Medina played for Atletico Madrid, where she played 131 matches. Commenting on her transfer, Medina said: "The competition against Manchester United last season showed me how strong this group is and how much this club means to our fans."
