Atalanta does not give up on Gaetano: negotiations with Cagliari continue

Atalanta Bergamo is still trying to sign Gianluca Gaetano, a Cagliari player, to strengthen its midfield. As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, despite previous talks, there is still a significant difference between the financial expectations of both clubs. Cagliari, which holds the rights to the player, values ​​him at around EUR 16 million. Meanwhile, Atalanta offers 11 million plus bonuses, which does not meet the requirements of the Sardinian side.  In response to this situation, the Bergamo club has proposed the possibility of including the players as part of the deal in order to get closer to an agreement. However, for now, these proposals do not satisfy Cagliari, which means that the parties are still far from finalizing the contract. Nevertheless, both sides are determined to reach an agreement and intensive work is underway to find a solution.
