Vladimir Bystrov, a former player of the Russian national team, expressed his opinion in an interview for Metaratings that the 2026 World Cup is not very exciting.
"I'm looking for almost all the matches, the time difference doesn't bother me. I follow all the teams and all the results. In the knockout phase, I didn't watch only one match. It was the match between Portugal and Croatia. And I was interested in all the matches in the knockout phase. And at the same championships, there's Mira Poka personal intrigue, no idea," Bystrow said.
The 2026 World Cup takes place in the USA, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. For the first time in the history of the World Cup, 48 teams are taking part in the tournament finals.
The defending world champion is the Argentine national team.
