Ramsey played 262 Premier League matches for Arsenal between 2008 and 2019, scoring 40 goals and providing 46 assists. During this time he won three FA Cups. After leaving Arsenal, he continued to play for Juventus, where he won one Serie A championship and a Coppa Italia, and also represented Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest, Rangers, Nice and Pumas UNAM. He spent three games as Cardiff's interim coach in 2025, but failed to save the team from relegation to League One. However, in the coming season he will be a coach at this level, taking over the recently relegated Oxford United. “I could feel the ambition and desire to succeed in my conversations with the club, which really excites me about this opportunity,” Ramsey said. "This is a moment I have been preparing for for many years. I have played under the best managers and have faced high-pressure situations throughout my career. My teams will play with a clear identity, based on elite habits and a commitment to daily improvement."
