Como is implementing an aggressive transfer strategy with new signing Kaiki

Como, despite playing in the Champions League, does not change its strategy and consistently implements its plan to strengthen the squad. The club has set specific transfer goals, and one of its recent successes is the acquisition of Kaika, a young and promising Brazilian defender. The agreement with UEFA for the upcoming season allows Como to be more aggressive on the transfer market, which is expected to bring financial benefits in the form of revenues from European competitions and successes at home.  In the latest episode of the Tuttomercatoweb.com podcast, Marco Conterio discusses Como's strategy in the transfer market, highlighting the importance of signing Kaiki. Born in Betim, Brazil, Kaiki started his career with the Cruzeiro academy, where he made his debut in 2021. Since then, he has gained a reputation as one of Brazil's most promising full-backs thanks to his defensive skills, pace and confidence in building up plays. In the 2025/26 season, Kaiki played 32 matches for Cruzeiro, gaining experience in the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana. Kaiki made his debut for the Brazilian national team in 2026, having previously represented the country in youth teams, including: in the U-20 team that won the South American U-20 Championship in 2023. In an interview for the club's official website, Kaiki shared his feelings: "I am very happy to be here, in a fantastic city and a great club; I can't wait to get started. This project has fascinated me from the beginning and I think that being able to express myself in such an environment is very important to me.
