Cyle Larin saves Canada against Bosnia at the 2026 World Cup

Canada made history by winning its first point at the World Championships. On Friday evening, the host team in Toronto drew 1-1 with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the hero of the match was former Feyenoord player Cyle Larin. For 90 minutes, Canada dominated the field, but it took a long time for them to find a way to defeat the opponent's defense. Fans in Toronto couldn't believe their team's bad luck, but their patience was rewarded. In the closing minutes of the game, Cyle Larin, who had come on just two minutes earlier, received a pass from Promise David and coolly placed the ball into the net, securing a historic World Cup point for Canada. On Saturday evening, in the same group B, there will be a match between Qatar and Switzerland, scheduled for 9 p.m.
