Daniele Bonera takes over as Pro Vercelli coach

F.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 is pleased to announce the assignment of responsibility for the first team to Daniele Bonera, who has signed a two-year contract with the club, valid from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028. Bonera, born in 1981, has had an impressive football career. He started with Brescia and then played for clubs such as Parma, Milan and Villarreal, amassing over 350 appearances in Serie A, European competitions and Spain's La Liga. During his career, he won numerous trophies, including the UEFA Champions League, the Serie A championship, the UEFA Super Cup, the Italian Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup with Milan. He also played 16 times for the Italian national team.  After ending his playing career, Bonera started working as a coach at Milan, being part of Stefano Pioli's coaching staff and contributing to winning the Serie A championship in the 2021/2022 season. He then took up the role of coach of Milan Futuro, the Under 23 project of the Rossoneri club. The Pro Vercelli Club is extremely pleased with the reception of Daniele Bonera and looks to the future with great hope. His experience at the highest levels of Italian and international football, combined with his knowledge of developing young talents, is a valuable element for the club's development.
