Erve Renard is the new coach of the Tunisia national team

The Tunisian national team officially announced that Erve Renard has become the new coach of the national team. This is the fifth African national team led by this experienced French coach. Before taking over the Tunisia squad, Renard worked with the teams of Zambia, Angola, Côte d'Ivoire and Morocco. In 2007-2008 he was also the assistant coach of the Ghana national team.  The decision to change the coach was made after Tunisia's disastrous start to the 2026 World Cup. In the first match of the group phase, the team lost to Sweden 1:5, which led to the dismissal of the current coach, Sabri Lamouchi. The Tunisians are now waiting for further challenges in the group, and their next matches are against Japan on June 21 and against the Netherlands on June 26.
