FC Groningen triumphs in the friendly, Heerenveen and Fortuna Sittard also win

On Friday evening, FC Groningen achieved another spectacular success in the friendly match, defeating VV Omlandia 14-0. This is the second consecutive game in which Dick Lukkien's team scored double-digit goals. Earlier on Tuesday, they defeated VV Peize 13-1. In the match against Omlandia, Oskar Zawada scored the most goals, scoring four times. The other goals were scored by Nils Eggens (3), David van der Werff (2), Brynjólfur Willumsson (2), Thom van Bergen, Wouter Prins and Mark Hoekstra. We are particularly pleased with the return of Zawada, who has not played since March 7.  Meanwhile, SC Heerenveen faced De Graafschap in Akkrum, winning 7-2. They had previously beaten Gaasterlân Sleat 19-0 and Steenwijkerland United 11-0. In the match against De Graafschap, goals for Heerenveen were scored by Dylan Vente (2), Ringo Meerveld, Maxence Rivera, Eser Gürbüz, Luuk Brouwers and Luca Oyen. Denzel Eijken and Fedde de Jong scored for the opponents. Fortuna Sittard was also happy with the win, although their match was not full of goals. The team defeated Lierse SK 1-0 thanks to a goal by Justin Hübner. The performance of Bryan Smeets is noteworthy as he tries to regain form in Lierse after a difficult period at MVV. Fortuna had a previously scheduled match against FC Ria, but it was canceled due to the heat. Fortuna's next match will take place on July 11 against RC Genk. --- ## Related Articles 1.
