Giuseppe Ursino on the need for reforms and young talents in Italian football

Giuseppe Ursino, former sports director, shared his thoughts on the need for reforms in Italian football. Ursino believes that it is crucial to introduce changes that will promote young talents and ensure that there are more Italian players in the teams. "Just as Spain stands up for itself, we should also give our young players a chance," Ursino points out. In the context of the upcoming transfer window, Ursino predicts that it will be very active. He indicates that the largest clubs are already starting to make moves on the market, and Milan, which still does not have a permanent coach, may be one of the most interesting teams to watch.  As for Serie B, Ursino reminds us that it is a league full of surprises, as shown by the last seasons with Frosinone and Catanzaro. In Serie C, Ascoli proved to be the strongest in the play-offs, and Ursino predicts that Cittadella and Brescia will be the most dangerous rivals next season. Regarding Bari, Ursino is optimistic. "Bari will create a strong team. Names such as Perinetti or Angelozzi can be based on it, although the latter will probably find employment elsewhere." Ursino points out that these people have deep knowledge of the local market, which is their great advantage.
