
England captain Harry Kane has once again shown that he is the true leader of the team. In a friendly against Croatia on Thursday, October 12, Kane scored both goals for England as his team won 2-1.
The Bayern Munich forward scored the first goal from a penalty kick in the 5th minute of the match. Croatia equalized in the second half after a header from Mateo Kovačić in the 56th minute. Kane, however, quickly restored the English lead by scoring the second goal in the 60th minute of the match.
Kane scored both goals from set pieces. The penalty was awarded for a foul on Cole Palmer, and the second goal was scored after a corner kick.
