Spain defeated Saudi Arabia and Rodri was back on top

 Rodri led Spain to a convincing 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia in the second match of their 2026 World Cup group, putting aside a frustrating 0-0 draw in Spain's first match against the Green Island. On Sunday evening, 18-year-old phenomenon Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the match, scoring a goal from Mikel Oyarzabal's cross from the left. Yamal thus made history by becoming the first player under the age of 19 to score the opening goal at a World Cup since Pele did so in 1958. Oyarzabal soon doubled the score, scoring two goals within three minutes of each other.
