Ipswich Town sign Hearts midfielder Jenna Slattery

 Ipswich Town have completed the permanent transfer of Hearts midfielder Jenny Slattery. The club, known as Tractor Girls, announced the transfer move on their official website. The 20-year-old footballer comes to Portman Road fresh from winning the SWPL 1 title with Hearts last season. Slattery has spent the last 18 months with Jambos, having joined the club from Galway United in the 2025 January transfer window. She is a creative midfielder with the ability to find shooting opportunities. Internationally, Slattery has represented the Republic of Ireland at various youth levels and hopes to make senior appearances in the coming years. After joining Ipswich Town, Slattery said: "I am delighted to have signed for Ipswich. I enjoy being a creative player and I hope I can add something new to this team. The ambition of this club is at the highest level and I am looking forward to being part of this journey." Slattery is Ipswich Town's fourth addition in the summer transfer window. Tractor Girls expect to be very active in the transfer window, building on last season's solid foundations in Barclays WSL2.
