Jordan Bos is the fastest player at the 2026 World Championships

Jordan Bos, a Feyenoord player, surprised everyone with his speed at the 2026 World Cup. The Australian left-back achieved an impressive speed of 36.7 km/h during the match against Turkey, making him the fastest player in the tournament so far. The match ended with Australia winning 2-0, although Bos did not score a goal or assist, his speed achievement is admirable.  For comparison, Erling Haaland of Norway and Abdukodir Khusanov of Uzbekistan reached speeds of 36.5 km/h in their matches against Iraq and Colombia, respectively. Ryan Gravenberch, the fastest Dutchman, reached 35.6 km/h during the match against Japan. Another Australian, Mohamed Touré, also recorded a high speed of 35.8 km/h. Australian national team, the Socceroos, now prepare for their second group match on Friday at 9pm in Seattle, where they will face hosts, the United States.
