Jorge Mendes denies the transfers of Joao Neves and Vitinha to Real Madrid

Real Madrid faces significant difficulties in finding reinforcements in its midfield. Jorge Mendes, a well-known football agent, has firmly ruled out the possibility of transferring Joao Neves and Vitinha from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. Both Portuguese players were often linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu, where they were seen as ideal reinforcements for the Royals' midfield. However, Mendes stressed that neither of them had any intention of leaving the French champions. In his interview with Fabrizio Romano, Mendes was clear about his clients' future, claiming that any hopes of seeing these players in Madrid are currently unrealistic. It should be noted that Real Madrid are looking for a big name to add to their squad this summer, especially after failing to sign Julian Alvarez following a bid of €150 million. This naturally led to speculation about players such as Vitinha and Joao Neves who could become Perez's new targets.  However, Mendes dispelled these rumors. "Vitinha and Joao (Neves) were never an option for anyone. They are non-transferable for Paris Saint-Germain and are very, very happy at PSG," said the superagent. This news leaves little room for interpretation as PSG does not intend to consider offers for either player and both players are fully committed to continuing their careers in Paris. The appeal of both players is obvious as Vitinha has developed into one of the most versatile midfielders in Europe, combining technical quality with intelligence in possession. Neves, meanwhile, is widely regarded as one of the brightest young talents in world football. Either of them would fit perfectly into Real Madrid's long-term project, but the problem is that PSG treats both of them as non-transferable assets. As a result, Florentino Perez and the club's recruitment department may have no choice but to focus their attention on other targets.
