Liverpool will not sell Virgil van Dijk

The Merseyside club has no intention of letting their captain leave, and newly appointed coach Andoni Iraola is counting on the Dutch defender in the upcoming season. Van Dijk, who will turn 35 in a few days, was one of several Liverpool players whose form dropped significantly in the 2025/26 season after their title-winning campaign in 2024/25.
