Liverpool are considering selling Cody Gakpo in the summer transfer window

Liverpool's summer transfer window raises a lot of emotions, especially in the context of the future of Cody Gakpo. During the latest Media Matters podcast on Anfield Index, Dave Davis and David Lynch discussed reports linking the Dutch striker with Tottenham Hotspur. Lynch revealed that the club are more open to a possible sale than many expected.  Lynch recalled the conversations he had had before the short break and admitted: "I was really surprised to hear that Liverpool might consider selling Gakpo." Despite criticism of Gakpo's recent performances, Lynch stressed that the striker still has potential, especially if used properly. He added that Iraola could help Gakpo improve his form. The podcast also touched on Tottenham's interest, pointing out that Premier League clubs are the most likely buyers due to financial requirements. Lynch has suggested that if Gakpo leaves, Liverpool may turn to Bradley Barcola as a potential replacement. There are currently no official signs that Gakpo must leave the club, but his future remains one of the most intriguing questions of the summer.
