Manchester United has signed an agreement with Amazon Prime that will allow for the production of a documentary from the 'All or Nothing' series, showing the behind-the-scenes of the club. Filming for the series, which will be available in over 240 countries in summer 2027, will begin before the season. United claims to have received a record amount for access to this type of production.
As previously reported by The Athletic, the club was in intensive talks at the end of the 2024-2025 season about a document that would show all aspects of the club's functioning. Amazon's bid was more than £10 million, which would have been the biggest payment for the club to take part in the series, which has previously hosted Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, United ultimately withdrew from talks after former coach Ruben Amorim raised concerns about the potential impact on the team. Amorim, who had a difficult start at United and lost the Europa League final to Tottenham, made it clear in June 2025 that such a project was not suitable or beneficial for the first team.

Amorim left the club in January this year and United regained form under interim manager Michael Carrick, who became permanent coach. Carrick had brought United back into the Champions League and created a more stable environment, so the club felt the time was right to strike a deal. The documentary will show fans United's new era under Carrick and their attempts to build on last season's third-place finish, as well as highlighting people associated with the club, including the coach, staff and first-team players.
United has also explored other deals with streaming platforms in recent years. In January, The Athletic revealed that United had struck a deal with North American production company Lionsgate to create a dramatized retelling of the club's history. The production is still in development and has not yet been written or sold to any broadcaster or streaming platform.
The Amazon filing also aims to showcase the management team led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe of INEOS, where Omar Berrada is chief executive and Jason Wilcox is sporting director. Filming will begin during pre-season preparations, which will include a friendly match in Wrocław against Milan, which may be an opportunity to meet Amor, the former United coach.
