Maria Perez extends her contract with London City Lionesses

London City Lionesses have officially announced that Maria Perez has signed a new contract that will run until summer 2028. The 24-year-old Spanish midfielder joined the club in September 2024 and has since become a key player for the team. Perez, who has had an extensive career with Barcelona, ​​Barcelona B and Sevilla, has made 20 appearances at Women's Super League and WSL 2 level, as well as four domestic cup appearances.  Talking about the new contract, Perez expressed her satisfaction: "I am very happy to extend the contract. I feel at home here, both in the club, in the country and in the league, so the decision was easy. I am young and ready to continue to compete and give my all for this club.
