Messi equals Klose's record as the top scorer in World Cup history

 Lionel Messi made World Cup history by scoring three goals against Algeria. The Argentine striker, currently representing Inter Miami, celebrated his 200th match for the national team and became the first player to take part in six different editions of the World Cup. The match started controversially, as Messi scored in the fifth minute, but the goal was canceled due to offside. In the 17th minute, however, they managed to open the scoring with a beautiful long-range shot. After an hour of play, Messi scored again, finishing the ball after an unsuccessful intervention by the Algerian goalkeeper.
