Neil El Aynaoui attracts Liverpool's attention after the 2026 World Cup

AS Roma midfielder Neil El Aynaoui has become the object of interest from Premier League clubs after his impressive performances at the 2026 World Cup. The 25-year-old player shone at the tournament, with Liverpool and Manchester United particularly keen on his skills. El Aynaoui joined Roma last year from RC Lens for €23.5 million plus bonuses. In his debut season in Italy, he played in 34 matches, scoring two goals and providing two assists. International tournaments often speed up transfer talks, putting players in the spotlight. At the World Cup, Morocco drew with Brazil 1-1, defeated Scotland and Haiti, and then eliminated the Netherlands on penalties. According to the report, Roma would not close the door to a large offer for the Moroccan, although any transfer would have to reflect his growing value.
