Sampdoria continues its search for a coach: Fabio Pecchia is the main candidate

The arrival of Americo Branco in Bogliasco means the intensification of the search for a new Sampdoria coach for the upcoming season. The club's Portuguese director decided to focus on an Italian profile instead of a foreign one, which was originally considered by the club's owners and CEO Fredberg. Among the potential candidates is Fabio Pecchia, who is well known in Serie B, where he successfully led teams such as Verona, Cremonese and Parma to promotion to Serie A. Pecchia remains unemployed after his stint with Parma, but he is ready for new challenges.  Another candidate under consideration is Davide Possanzini, who recently met with the Danish Sampdoria activist. Possanzini also enjoys interest from clubs such as Cesena, Cremonese and Catanzaro. Jesper Fredberg will soon meet Attilio Lombardo, who still has a two-year contract with Sampdoria.
