In the last minutes of the match, help was necessary because the German referee had difficulty moving. Assistants, including Katja Garcia, and players Aiden O'Neil from Australia and Folarin Balogun from the USA helped Zwayer stretch his leg and reduce the pain, and an energy gel helped him regain strength. Thanks to this, the referee was able to finish the match. After this victory, the USA team leads Group D with six points, while Australia takes second place with three points. In the first round, the USA defeated Paraguay (4:1), and Australia won against Turkey (2:0). In the last round, the USA will face Turkey and Australia will face Paraguay, both matches will take place on June 26. The group stage lasts from June 11 to 27, each team will play three matches. The top two teams from each group and the eight third-placed teams will advance to the knockout stage.
