Tottenham plans reinforcements under De Zerbi: Robertson and Savinho in their sights

Roberto De Zerbi, who took over as Tottenham's coach at the end of March, managed to save the team from the threat of relegation to the Championship and restore stability to the club. Now, after the most difficult period, De Zerbi is focused on the future and plans to strengthen his squad for the upcoming transfer window. Together with the club's management, De Zerbi is working on a strategy that aims to improve the quality of the team by introducing experienced players and young talents capable of meeting the demands of the Premier League. The main goal is to improve the team's physicality and continuity of play after a season full of injuries.  The list of potential reinforcements includes players such as Andy Robertson from Liverpool, Marcos Senesi, as well as Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton, whom De Zerbi knows from their previous joint appearances in England. The transfer of van Hecke is a priority, especially if Cristian Romero leaves the club. Tottenham has already made a first offer, which was rejected by Brighton, but talks are ongoing. In attack, De Zerbi is interested in Savinho from Manchester City, whose transfer situation may change after changes in the City training staff. Additionally, De Zerbi is looking for a creative midfielder, with Middlesbrough's Hayden Hackney one of the preferred candidates. The planned investments are ambitious, but Tottenham's management considers them necessary for the club to return to the fight for the highest goals in the Premier League.
