Tottenham begins talks with Newcastle regarding Sandro Tonali

Tottenham Hotspur has started talks with Newcastle United regarding the transfer of Sandro Tonali, one of the most promising young players on the market. As reported by _The Athletic_, Robert De Zerbi's club is trying to finally reach an agreement with Newcastle, which expects a fee of around £100 million for the Italian midfielder.  Tonali, who currently has a contract valid until June 30, 2029 with an option to extend for another season, has also attracted interest from Manchester City. Both clubs are intensively negotiating contract terms, trying to convince the player to join their team. Tottenham, in order to convince Tonali, plans to offer him attractive financial terms, which may tip the scales in favor of the London club. It seems that Roberto De Zerbi, the Spurs coach, is determined on this transfer and is trying to finalize the talks as soon as possible.
