Transfers and new faces in Serie B and C: Modena, Cesena and Pescara with new contracts

The football season has officially started, and with it an intense transfer period has begun. There was no shortage of interesting moves in Serie B and C. Modena made two significant transfers, acquiring Daniele Montevago and Luca Bacchin from Perugia. Both players signed contracts until June 30, 2029 with an extension option. Meanwhile, Ettore Gliozzi left the Emilia region, moving to Mantova, where he signed a three-year contract. Sampdoria decided to strengthen its defense by acquiring Danish defender Stefan Gartenmann, who signed a two-year contract. Arezzo, in turn, focused on young talent, loaning goalkeeper Alessandro Nunziante from Udinese and also bringing in Andrea Seculina, who was a free agent after leaving Reggiana.  There were also significant changes on the coaching benches. Cesena entrusted the position of head coach to Alessandro 'Alino' Diamanti, who signed a contract until the end of June 2028. Pescara also made a change, hiring Antonio Buscè as their new coach. Other Serie C clubs also announced new coaching appointments. Matteo Pastorino took over at Vado, Raimondo Catalano became Audace Cerignola's coach, while Alessandro Formisano took his place on the Savoia bench. There is uncertainty in Bari following Fabrizio Castori's refusal, with the club considering the candidacies of Matteo Andreoletti, Federico Coppitelli and Salvatore Bocchetti, who will not be renewed at Atalanta U23.
