De Bruyne in great form and Giuliani asks
According to Tuttomercatoweb.
Background
Kevin De Bruyne, currently playing for Manchester City, is considered one of the best midfielders in the world. His skills and influence on the game are often compared to legendary footballers, making him the subject of interest from many clubs, including Napoli.
Why is it important
Kevin De Bruyne, once again, has proven his class on the pitch, which arouses interest not only in Belgium, but also in Naples. His outstanding form in the 2024 European Championship qualifier, where he scored and provided an assist, underlines his status as one of the best midfielders in Europe. In the context of speculation about his future, the opinions of experts such as Michele Giuliani may influence the perception of De Bruyne among Napoli fans.
Key points
- De Bruyne in great form and Giuliani asks.
- Kevin De Bruyne showed his class again in the Belgium national team match, and his play arouses a lot of excitement throughout Europe, especially in Naples.
- De Bruyne in evidenza col Belgio, Giuliani: "Alla stampa di Napoli non vengono dubbi?".
Kevin De Bruyne showed his class again in the Belgium national team match, and his play arouses a lot of excitement throughout Europe, especially in Naples.
Yesterday, Belgium defeated Estonia 5-0 in a European Championship 2024 qualifying match, with De Bruyne scoring one goal and providing two assists.
A sports journalist who particularly closely follows the career of the Manchester City midfielder, as well as his play for the national team, is Michele Giuliani, who runs a YouTube channel called "Il Bello del Calcio".
Michele Giuliani published a story on his Instagram profile in which he said:
Another journalist, this time from Napoli, reacted to Giuliani's words, namely Salvatore Caiazza, who responded on Instagram by saying:
"Ma a Napoli c'è qualche dubbio, scusa se ti interrompo, ma a Napoli ci sono dei dubbi su De Bruyne?"
And this is where the issue comes in
, which is quite controversial in Naples, namely whether De Bruyne is a player worth betting on this season, whether it was worth investing in him in the summer, whether it was worth extending his contract, because De Bruyne had a lot of injuries last season, and this season he is also starting to have health problems, so was investing in such a player who is 32 years old at the moment, was it a good investment for Napoli, should they focus on younger players, for example Raspadori or Lozano. And this, as if in Naples, raises some doubts whether De Bruyne is the type of player who should play for Napoli or whether he will definitely play for Napoli.
And here you can notice a certain disproportion, because Michele Giuliani as a journalist from Napoli, sorry, as a journalist from outside Napoli, and above all as a journalist who follows De Bruyne's career, has a completely different opinion than journalists from Napoli, and especially Salvatore Caiazza.
What next
Reactions to De Bruyne's performance may lead to further discussions about his potential transfer to Napoli, especially in the context of Giuliani's comments. As more games approach, De Bruyne will have the chance to further prove his worth, which could influence clubs' decisions in the upcoming transfer windows. Napoli fans will certainly follow his career with even greater interest.
