Vinicius Junior: Victories off the pitch are more important than my achievements on the pitch

Vinicius Junior, striker of the Brazilian national team, emphasized in an interview how important it is for him to fight racism in football. "I always say that these victories off the pitch are much more important than what I achieve on the pitch. Thanks to this, I can help more people. Currently, FIFA and UEFA are on my side. Of course, everything is happening very slowly, but it is important that these changes continue and that the next generations do not experience racism. My brother is now seven years old and I hope that what happened to me will not happen to him. I want to continue to do great things on the pitch, but my main goal is without a doubt to inspire young people and fight for black people who do not have as loud a voice as mine," Vinicius said in an interview with Ge Globo, quoted by the X social networking site. --- ## Related Articles 1.
