Ivan Bielikow, defender of the Bałtika club, who took 9-10th place in the "Championate" plebiscite for the best young RPL player, shared his plans for the 2026 World Cup. "The first World Cup that I consciously remember is 2018. I liked Croatia: they may not have had top-class players, but they were able to achieve results. I especially remember Perišić and, of course, Modrić. On I'm going to support Portugal during the 2026 World Cup. They have a great selection of players, which allows them to present high-quality football. I like their players in the midfield - they are technical, intelligent, well-developed. I would also like to watch Spain: Rodri and Yamal are worth watching, "said Bielikow in an interview with a journalist from "Championate". Let us recall that Belikov took 9th-10th place ex aequo with CSKA defender Kirill Danilov in the plebiscite for the best young player of the RPL, scoring 10 points. The top three were Russians Kirill Glebov and Matvey Kislyak (both from CSKA) with 42 and 131 points, and the winner was Lokomotiv midfielder Alexei Batrakov with 162 points.
