Malik Pimpong in Eintracht Frankfurt: The pride of Danish football has gone to the Bundesliga
Eintracht Frankfurt has signed 18-year-old Malik Pimpong from FC Midtjylland. The young striker signed a contract until 2031 and is to be gradually introduced to play in the Bundesliga.
Eintracht Frankfurt made a significant addition by signing Danish striker Malik Pimpong from FC Midtjylland. The transfer of this talented player cost the German club approximately EUR 3 million. Pimpong, who is 18, has signed a contract with Eintracht until 2031. The young player previously played in the Midtjylland youth team, where he scored 30 goals in 46 league and Youth League matches.
Pimpong scored 12 goals in 24 appearances for the Danish youth national teams. SGE-Sportdirektor Timmo Hardung emphasizes that Pimpong is a young player with huge potential who will have a chance to develop at Eintracht Frankfurt. The club plans to gradually introduce him to the Bundesliga, providing appropriate conditions for adaptation and development.
Pimpong's transfer is part of a broader strategy of Eintracht, which previously brought back Noel Futkeu, the top scorer in the second league, to the club from Greuther Fürth. Pimpong, like Futkeu, is expected to strengthen the offensive power of the Frankfurt team.
