Juventus decided to respond to UEFA's announcement, which announced the inclusion of the Turin club in the Settlement Agreement system. The club issued a statement informing about the conclusion of a three-year agreement with the UEFA Club Financial Control Body. This agreement concerns Juventus' failure to comply with UEFA financial rules for the period 2022/23 to 2024/25. As part of the deal, Juventus agreed to an immediate payment of €6 million and a potential additional €14 million if financial conditions are not met in the current and two following seasons. The club expressed optimism that these requirements could be met, which would avoid additional penalties. Additionally, Juventus must comply with certain restrictions on player costs in the UEFA squad. If the financial conditions are met in the years 2024/25 - 2026/27, the club will have the opportunity to leave the settlement agreement system earlier. The club also announced that it had met UEFA's personnel cost ratio requirements as at December 31, 2025.
